犹素修饰与免疫稳态调控的研究进展

摘要:
翻译后修饰是细胞功能蛋白的必经之路,并最终调节着生命的几乎所有方面。犹素系统是一种新发现的类 泛素修饰系统,具有重要的细胞生物学功能,然而其生物学意义很大程度上尚未明了。近年来该领域进展迅猛,已经成为 研究热点之一,尤其是犹素系统直接或间接地调节多种免疫过程进而影响肿瘤微环境。该文综述了生理或病理条件下犹 素系统如何响应内源性和外源性刺激并维护免疫稳态的重要最新进展,为理解犹素系统的功能调控及其作为人类疾病 诊治中的潜在靶点提供新的视野。

The emerging roles of UFMylation in the functional regulation of immune homeostasis

Abstract:
Post-translational modification is a necessary pathway for cellular functional proteins and ultimately regulates almost all aspects of life. The UFMylation system is a newly identified ubiquitin-like modifier with important biological functions, but its biological significance is still unclear. The field has recently witnessed a large number of studies showing that the UFMylation system directly or indirectly regulates tumor microenvironment via regulating multiple immune processes in tumor microenvironment. The review summarized important advances in how the UFM1 system responds to endogenous and exogenous stress and maintains immune homeostasis under certain physiological or pathological conditions, providing new insights into the regulation and function of the UFMylation system and its application in the treatment of human diseases.
